ISEAL Annual Conference 2013

ISEAL’s annual conference is the pre-eminent gathering place for the world’s most influential social and environmental standards systems to come together, along with emerging standards, leading businesses, government representatives, NGOs, and other stakeholders that are passionate about finding ways for sustainability standards to scale up their impact.

The conference begins on June 11th and continues until June 13th and is the opportunity of the year for representatives from standards systems with a proven commitment to credibility and effectiveness to discuss important issues. Over 200 experts in the standards and certification community will meet to discuss the drive toward demonstrating impacts on human well-being, and harnessing innovations that can make standards more effective. Topics for discussion include certification and the IT revolution, engaging producers in monitoring and evaluation programs, innovations in product traceability, and the future of sustainability standards, among others.

ISEAL is the global association for social and environmental standards systems. Its annual conference is a signature event when the world’s most influential standards and certification programs come together with leading businesses, government representatives, NGOs and other stakeholders passionate about increasing the impact of standards.
